Professional experience and musical journey
Born and raised in Milan, I took my first steps in music as a self-taught guitarist, performing in the Milanese folk scene before expanding my musical journey. At 25, I moved to London to study piano, composition, and music production at the London Centre of Contemporary Music, where I earned my degree in 2020.
During my five years in the city, I immersed myself in one of the world's most exciting music scenes, collaborating with musicians from all over the globe across a variety of musical settings. In 2021, I relocated to Edinburgh to pursue a Master's in Sound Design, expanding my expertise in audio technology, sound effects production, generative composition, and orchestral arrangement.
In 2023, a family emergency brought me back to Milan, where I continued working as a performer, educator, and audio professional. As of January 2025, I am once again based in London, working as a teacher, performer, sound designer, audio engineer, and sound recordist.
I believe that music education should be a joyful and personalized experience. Each student has unique learning styles, musical interests, and goals. My teaching adapts to these individual needs while focusing on creativity, expression, and the joy of playing music.

Common questions about my teaching services
Yes, having your own instrument is essential for regular practice between lessons. For beginners, I can provide guidance on instrument selection, whether you're purchasing or renting. If you're taking lessons at my studio, you'll use my instruments during the lesson.
For most students, weekly lessons provide the right balance of instruction and independent practice time. This consistent schedule helps maintain momentum and ensures steady progress. Some advanced students benefit from twice-weekly sessions, while occasional bi-weekly lessons can work for highly self-motivated adult learners.
Practice requirements vary by age and level, but consistency is more important than marathon sessions. For young beginners, 15-20 minutes of daily practice is appropriate. Intermediate students should aim for 30-45 minutes daily, while advanced students typically need 1-2 hours of focused practice. I'll provide specific practice strategies tailored to your level and goals.
Yes, I offer high-quality online lessons using video conferencing platforms with optimized audio settings. Online lessons provide flexibility and have proven very effective for many of my students. I provide specialized resources and techniques specifically designed for the online learning environment.
I teach students of all ages, from young children (typically starting around age 5-6) through adults of any age. My teaching approach is adapted to suit the learning style, developmental stage, and goals of each student, regardless of their age or previous experience.
No, learning to read standard notation is not required in my lessons. My teaching approach emphasizes practical skills, ear training, and understanding music concepts through playing. If you're interested in learning to read music, I have special techniques that make it much easier and more intuitive than traditional methods. Many of my students achieve great results with minimal focus on sight reading.
